About the Lost Africa Project

Lost Africa is a special research project, derived from a thirst for knowledge about a continent and a people with a rich yet forgotten history. It's evident that through centuries of competition, racism and slavery, the history of Black Africa has been largely tossed aside. History books latch onto the beliefs of prejudiced historians instead of first hand resources. Lost Africa presents historical accounts of African civilizations using physical evidence--from paintings to structures to literature from the beginning of time to modern society.

The evidence is presented by region and chronology to cast light on the specific contributions of Black Africans in differnt different parts of the world at different eras of time.

Purpose, Mission & Values

We hope this project will present clear and concrete evidence to bring to light the history and contributions of Black Africans around the world.

Moreover, the project is a resource to which people can refer in order to learn about the forgotten civilizations and contributions of Black Africans.

After studying this stuff and presenting it to people, I've learned something valuable. It doesn't matter how much evidence you present, people will always see and believe what they allow themselves to believe. Truth for one is not truth for all.

Everyone lives in one's own universe where things are ordered according to the laws that one obeys. Unfortunately, the obedience of many of these laws are learned from birth and creates a paradigm that must be broken in order to see the truth that exists independently from personal truths.

This project was never intended to change minds but only provide a forum of evidence that's available for people anyone who is ready to see it and accept.

Our research is by no means setting a precedent; however, there is a dearth of websites providing such content. As our world grows ever so intertwined with the Internet, accurate and valuable information as provided on our site is necessary in order to communicate with Internet-based generations.

Furthermore, the misconceptions and outright deceit about true Black African history and contributions have created false paradigms in the minds of everyone around the world--regardless of race or ethnicity. Mere evidence that has existed throughout the history of man could easily shatter these false paradigms--yet such evidence is often well out of reach of people. This website can help shatter false paradigms with independent proof of the past of Black Africans and has potential to alter the inherently negative opinions people hold towards people of Black African descent.
