Lost Africa: The Forgotten Civilizations and Contributions of Black Africans
Our research shows that civilizations created by people of Black African descent have existed for thousands of years and spread throughout the world long before the age of European exploration and colonization. The evidence of the global Black African legacy exists
in art, architecture, language, customs, as well as both the oral and written accounts of Black Africans and Europeans alike.
Although subject to much dispute by the feelings of modern historians, our evidence is objective and concretely outlines the following:
- the extent of the presence of Black African civilizations in different regions of the world;
- how they were portrayed by Europeans and Asians; and
- the significance of their contributions.
The research presented is designed to serve as a continuously improving resource of evidence so that Black Africans can have a clearly documented and objective history and to preserve such evidence in the cyberspace realm.
